Owners of vehicles parked on the strip of land designated a road reserve across from the Queens Court Plaza and Seven Mile Shops, were warned last week that as of Wednesday, 25 July, any vehicles still parked in that location would be towed.

The last remaining vehicle, a Ford Taurus bearing no license plate and parked just beside the “No Parking” sign, was towed away today (Thursday, 26 July) at 10:00 a.m.

National Roads Authority (NRA) Transportation Planner Marion Pandohie said that prior to the towing the owner was contacted on three separate occasions regarding removal of the vehicle. But, with no response the NRA decided to remove the vehicle themselves.
She added, “Going forward we are going to be keeping a close eye on that area.”

To retrieve vehicles that are towed, owners should contact the NRA main office at 946-7780 and pay a $200 towing fee.
